When I registered for PowerBI, the product registered a userid of the form MyId@MyId.onmicrosoft.com... I received the MyId@MyId.onmicrosoft.com account from a trial Dynamics CRM deployment in the cloud. I basically want to try out developing PowerBI against Dynamics CRM as the back-end data source. So, I sign onto PowerBI with MyId@MyId.onmicrosoft.com. Cool.
That is all fine, but for development, I need to register my client app against Azure AD. I went to
https://manage.windowsazure.com/ and it signed me in under MyId@MyId.onmicrosoft.com HOWEVER, it then said I didn't have any subscriptions (and I assume no AD instances.)
So, for PowerBI development (where I need to register a client app in azure AD) how do I proceed? What are my next steps? Where can I find my Azure AD instance?
Thoughts?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If your MyId is the admin for your onmicrosoft.com tenant, you should have an Admin option in the App menu in the top left corner (3x3 grid next to Power BI logo). That will put you in the admin center and AD config even without an Office 365 subscription.

You pointed me in the right direction! There was then an option on the left side of the admin page to setup Azure. I clicked that option and I received a subscription and a setup. I waited a few minutes. Now, I can follow the link and get access to AD. Bingo!
Now, I have to figure out how to mark your answer as correct.
Thank you so much.
