How to filter a PowerBI report which has Azure AS as a live connection using parameter?

How to filter a PowerBI report which has Azure Analysis service as a live connection using report parameter?

I have parameter named StudentID and would like to pass this to the PowerBI report which is hosted on a Powerbi Service to filter the report and show attributes of StudentID from StudentDetails dimension table from the Datamodel of the report.

I created the parameter inside the report by going to power query editor( Using Visual studio AS project) and mapped it to the StudentDetails dimension table  but it doesnt seem to work .

How to map the external parameter correctly ?

Hi, @Anonymous

Currently, parameters in Azure AS or AS aren't supported passed to report. You can try to use RLS to filter the data source.
