How to connect SharePoint or Excel file to Dataflow

I tried the blank query method and the data become empty when I tried to load with Power BI Desktop.

I further check to the gateway, it says invalid creditential. But I am sure they are correct.

Can anybody help.

Thanks!

Wait, you are talking dataflows but then you reference the Desktop, which is it? Are you creating a dataflow and then using that as a source in Power BI Desktop? But then where does the blank query come into play? Confused.

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Let say my file is saved on SharePoint, but I would like to publish it as dataflow on Power BI Service with Premium Space, so others with access to the workspace would utilize it in Power BI Desktop with Dataflow connector.

But when I try to select SharePoint List when I create the dataflow, it shows an error that my credential provided is not valid. (I double checked both username & pws must be correct)

I used an alternative method to copy script from PowerBi Desktop to the editor on Dataflow. It works fine in the editor, but when I save it and tried to use Power BI Desktop to connect to this dataflow, it shows an empty table.

I further try to refresh the dataflow online, but it shows an error message again which is invalid credential provided.
