How to change connection to Power BI Dataset in Excel, using Analyze in Excel when moving Tenant

Hi All,

we are changing Office 365 Tenant, so I'll develop a new Power BI environment. As we use Analyze in Excel, is there a way to change the connection in the Excel file(s), so the current Excel files, connected to the Live Power BI Dataset will keep working/refreshing after I publish the same dataset in the new tenant?

Thank you for your help, Kind regards, Suzan

Hi, @Anonymous

It’s my pleasure to answer for you.

I'm sorry that there is no good way to change it, and you need to use new tenant account to analyze in excel.

You can submit your idea here.Hope this feature will come soon.

Best Regards

Janey Guo
