I have a doubt regarding Endorsing of apps or datasets.
I am in a large organization, and I do not want to Promote my app, because my app is only valid for my department; i dont want anyone outside my department accessing it... therefore I avoid promoting it, because it may reach to people from outside my department that do not care about it.
But, I feel I do want to certify it, because I want my department to know that the app/dataset is good.
My question is: clearly "promoting" applies for the entire-organization, but does "certifying" applies to the entire organization too??
Documentation is not clear, it talks only about "endorsing":
"Endorsed content is clearly labeled, both in Power BI and in other places where users look for Power BI content (such as Excel). It is also given priority in some searches, and you can sort it for in some lists."

Hi. The difference between promoting and certifying is the rol of the person that was endorsed the content. A promotion can be done by the developer, but the certification can only be done by an admin.
It's just a different tag or label. Besides that, their features are the same.
I hope that helps,
