Hi,
I have a published app that have various excel and power bi reports . I would like to add a documentation section that can include powerpoints, pdfs and link to a confluence page .
Is this possible ? Maybe have them link to a sharepoint page? Do the URLs need to be embeded?
Thank you

Here is one interesting example

Some user embed a how to document, and some user embed a survey.
If I get you correctly, you could add links in the Desktop. With my test, I was able to add a text box and insert the link of my onedrive folder into the box, you can also insert the links of a individual ppt or pdf files in the text boxs. Then publish to service and update to the App.
You can also put the links into a excel, then add that excel to the datset to create a something on the report. something like:
Title | File |
a | https://... |
b | https://... |

Im referring to this note from the link you shared:
"Just make sure the link you add supports embedding, since some services block this"
I know there is a link feature. But what link do i put in for a powerpoint , pdf file or a confluence link?
