How many logins are allowed using a single power bi pro licence

How many logins are allowed using a single power bi pro licence?

I have a scenarios where 2 different users on 2 different machienes with same data & report access wants to view the Power BI Application.

Do i need to purchase 2 different pro licences or they can have the common credentials.

- If they can use common credentials, Are they not breaching any Power BI licence policy ?

- If there's no licence breach, how many users are allowed to use same licence using same credentials?

@NamanMittal This thread is a similiar question - > https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/License-agreement/td-p/214834 it leads to the general Online Subscription agreement here -> https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/legal/subscription-agreement/ the part that I believe is relevant in legal terms is section g,2...but I could be wrong.

"(ii) you may not allow multiple users to directly or indirectly access any Microsoft Azure Services feature that is made available on a per-user basis."

For non-legal speak, this article makes it clear the Pro license is "per-user"

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-licensing-organization

The main page for purchasing stipulates "per-user"

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

I believe last time this came up the discussion ended with there is no specific document for Pro licenses because they fall under the same terms and conditions of other licenses/subscriptions. Your question is the same as can I buy one copy of Office in my organization and assign it to the same credentials that everyone uses..."no"

@NamanMittal 1 user, 1 Pro license. Having multiple people use the same account is a breach of the license terms & conditions.

Hi Seth,

I tried looking for this on various documents\links available for Power BI on microsoft website, however, couldn't find any link against this licence breach by multiple users.

If possible, Can you please provide me a link (one of the client's requirement) to refer against this.
