Hi
I have, from Workspaces done a "Update app" and then under Access chossen "Specific individuals or group"
And then marked "Install this app automatically"
When I have done this all the use will have the app in Power BI.
Can I see how many use have the app? Because I am not sure that all user have the app.
I am doing this to manke sure that all user can acces the Power Bi report from SharePoint
@Anonymous If you go into the permissions setting, the users you directly shared to should show up in the permission box. If they are already a member of the workspace itself, it doesn't appear that those users show up in the list. So it appears you need to check both spots.
Hi
Thank you for that answer.
I have use mail group when I did the "Update app".
So I can only see the mail group and not all the user in the group. Can I see the use in the group if they have the app.
And I can't see the user that have use "Get app" This is the user that have got the app them self.
I have to puch the app out to 700 user so they can use the Power BI report on SharePoint.
@Anonymous The usage metrics for the report should display the users that are activley using it. Based on the documentation the value to slice by under the "Distribution Methods" still might be "Content Pack", otherwise it is "App".
The "Get App" action seems to be the same as "Installed Power BI App" that you could pull from the Office 365 audit logs... No easy answer to this one, looks like the data is in two different places. But if you go through the effort of digging into audit logs, you can pull report usage from that area as well.
