How do I create a admin account for Power BI?

Recently we had a demo about the various functions for Power BI. We now have permission to deploy it at one of our customers, but I need a admin account to distribute users and grant them persmissions on certain areas within Power BI. Example, some users can see chart 1, but not chart 2.

I already searched and found this link: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Power-BI-Pro-for-non-Office-365-Users/td-p/8895

But that link doesn't work anymore.  There is no purchase button. Is there a updated link on how to create an admin account?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Sub

If you want to administer Power BI, your account needs to be marked as a Global Admin, within Office 365 or Azure Active Directory, or have been assigned the Power BI service administrator role, you can review the following articles about Power BI admins and how to assign Power BI admin role.

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-admin-administering-power-bi-in-your-organ...
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-admin-role/

However, if you want to purchase Power BI pro, please review this official article: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-admin-purchasing-power-bi-pro/ .

In addition, based on your description, you want to control that some users see chart 1 but not chart 2, this scenario is not related to Power BI admin account. You can pin chart 1 to a single dashboard and only share the dashboard to specific users.

Thanks,
