How can we best user Q&A feature in Power Bi

Hi All,

I am trying to understand the Q&A feature of Power Bi. Have gone through the following blog and video.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-q-and-a-create-featured-questions

But somehow when I add featured question it doesnt retain the question. Also most of the time I don't get the answer and result I am looking for.

Any suggestion based on experience would really help.

Note: I am using the data model created in SSDT/SSAS which to my understanding does not support creating synonyms.

Regards,

Akash

Hi @akj2784,

You should note these points below:

1.As you use the data model created in SSDT/SSAS , there are some limitations may affect the result.

If you use the Multi-dimensional model, the full Q&A experience is not yet supported for multi-dimensional.

More limitations you could refer to this article.

2.

Also most of the time I don't get the answer and result I am looking for.

You should take a good look at this article Tips for asking questions in Power BI Q&A.

3.

Note: I am using the data model created in SSDT/SSAS which to my understanding does not support creating synonyms.

You are right, some synonyms are not supported in Q&A currently, you could vote an idea in here.

Best Regards,

Cherry
