Hi,
Using powershell to push data to a pinned table on a real-time dashboard. Since it's a pinned table and not a tile I'm forced to delete rows before pushing in the new data. This results in horrible flashing of the dashboard as the updates occur.
Any solution or workaround for this?
The reason I'm using a table and not a tile is because (apparently) Power BI really, really dislikes TEXT. Can't add TEXT to a tile. Can't add TEXT as a tooltip, etc.
Thanks
Hi @Chas2002,
How to reproduce it? How about enlarging the pushing interval by sleep?
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi Everyone,
Any update on this?
My customer loves the Power BI reports but despises the dashboard 'Flashing' during pushed updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chas

Hi @Chas2002,
I tried to find out a workaround. It seems it's a limitation for now. I would suggest you vote up this idea or create a new one.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi Dale,
I voted. It's been an open request since 2016?
Bump -- This is still an issue for me and has caused me to halt two projects (can't showcase the projects with this issue in place as my client would not accept it). I've voted it up, see that this has been an issue for others for quite a while, since 2016..
Any idea when we might see an update?
Thanks,
Chas
Hi Dale,
I could certianly control the flash timing with a sleep, but the data needs to be as near real-time as possible. I would gladly use a streaming data tile, but MS won't allow me to create a Tile with TEXT. Why does MS care if I send 123 or ABC to a tile????
