Hive Hortonworks ODBC Connector refresh error on Power BI Service

Hey Everyone,

I am using Hortonworks ODBC Connector to fetch my data that resides in Cloudera Hive. The connection has been established succesfully and I am able to fetch and refresh data in Power BI Desktop. 

I am able to also able to publish the Power BI File to Power BI service. My On Premise Gateway has been set up and configured correctly. 

The Problem arise when I try to refresh my data in Power BI Service. The error states that the table cannot be found.

I have looked through the error number. But didn't find anything solid to help me resolve this issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure the gateway is set up correctly? Same ODBC driver, access to Hive is validated and sufficient, and you can reach the table with your Hive query tool from the gateway?

Could you tell me what kind of connection mode you use?

Here is a simmliar blog like yours , and I hope it could help you solve your problem.


Please check did you make some change on the data source, just like change the file name, file postion and so on.
