We have used the hierarchy slicer in a number of reports and these have worked fairly well. Recently i've had reports from some users, who upon clicking the drill down triangle, have not been seeing any change in the slicer selection. These reports are being accessed through the browser, making use of 'Publish to the Web'. Going back a few weeks ago, this same report was working correctly for these users. We haven't made any significant alterations.
As the poor mug who has to support this report, i have dutifully recreated their scenario without getting the fault. My first note is that this particular employee is using Windows 7, 32-Bit with Internet explorer 10 (10.0.9200.17609). Is anyone else finding a similar issue? Does anyone know if there has been a Microsoft side update that may have made Power BI less reliable for certain versions of Windows or Internet Explorer?
Hi @Anonymous,
I believe you have done most of the troubleshooting. Here is some questions and tips.
1. What changes should it be?
2. The version of supported IE is 11. Could you please try to upgrade it? Reference: powerbi-service-browser-support.
Best Regards!

Thanks. I'm banking on this being the case. I've instructed someone from our IT team to attempt an upgrade to the users machine. It might take a few days before this is possible. Will let you know if this isn't the cause.
