Hide Sharepoint Sites

Wondering how I can stop every sharepoint site from showing up as an available workspace in Power BI?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

When those SharePoint sites were created, an Office 365 Group was also created, which includes provisioning a Power BI Workspace. Perhaps you are familiar with Office 365 Groups already, but if not I'd recommend taking a look at this article: http://icansharepoint.com/everyday-guide-office-365-groups/?utm_content=buffer6bf89&utm_medium=socia...

It does a good job explaining Office 365 Groups and which Office 365 apps are provisioned when a new Group is created. Hope this helps.

@bonnie

I think what you have created should be O365 group. It must appear a group workspace on Power BI Service. It's not possible to hide it.

Collaborate in your Power BI app workspace

Manage your app workspace in Power BI and Office 365

Regards,

Thanks. So what's happened is there were already sharepoint sites created and we just got our Power BI license.

When I logged in to Power BI for the first time, I see every sharepoint site I'm a member of as a workspace in Power BI.
