Having trouble with options.dataview model

Hi all,

FYI- trying to get a custom table visual in PowerBI.

I'm fetching data from a excel sheet in powerBI service. My data sheet has some columns which contains numbers only and 1 column has data in format like "$1" or "$2".

anycguy
56$7
32$1
667$7
59$7
123$1

when fetching data from table, I'm using options.dataview[0].

The thing is -> in dataview i can only see numbers of "guy" column like 7,1,7,7,1. No dollar sign is there

so when trying to print the same in table visual. It's just a number with no $ sign. but I want that sign too followed by number.

Need help.

Hi @v-mubish

Did you try creating the report after deleting it? Which custom visual do you use?

Best Regards!

HI @v-jiascu-msft,

Reflection of changes done in modelling pane is happening without saving any report, and I am using custom table visual which is currently in development.

Mukul

Hi Mukul,

Which custom visual are you using? Did you get it from store.office.com?

Best Regards!

Hi @v-jiascu-msft,

I tried this method, but it is not getting reflected in my custom visual.
