HOW MANY REFRESHES PER DATASET PER DAY - POWER BI PRO

Hi there,

I'm using Power BI Pro to share reports within my organization. I have scheduled refreshes in the morning for 15 datasets. I see some failing. Can 15 different datasets in PowerBI Pro be scheduled to refresh at the same time (say 5 am) each day? Is there a limit on how many datasets one can schedule to refresh every day and most importanly at the same time?

Hi there,

With Power BI Pro you get 8 refreshes a day.

I think the challenge that you have is because you are refreshing all 15 datasets at one time, the Gateway and possible data sources are getting overloaded.

I would suggest running maybe 2 - 3 at a time and stagger them?

by stagger them doyou mean put them at different times or different workspaces?

What I mean is schedule them from say 4:30AM, then 5AM, then 5:30AM?
