HELP - Need to connect various data sources in Power BI

I have a requirement to connect the data from various data sources like  MS Dynamics, Shared Dataset(Some datasets published in pro workspace & some dataset published in premium workspace), SQL Table, Postgresql. Need your advice on how to do that?

Hi @Sakthi_kumar

As long as you have access to all of these datasets when you connect to them on power bi desktop, it is not very necessary to unify them into one workspace. Of course, you can do that too. For creating composite models, you can get useful information from this doc: Use composite models in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs;

Since you are dealing with a lot of data sources, it is also a relatively good way to create dataflow, please refer to this doc for guidance:  Creating a dataflow - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Please let me know if I have misunderstood you or if you have any questions.

@Sakthi_kumar  - You can create a composit models in the Power BI (connect all these datasouces and tables in Power BI). Alternatively, you can look at bringing them into Dataflows and then use them in Power BI. Hope this helps !

Thank you very much !

@gauthamboppana - Thank you for your response and suggestion. However, If I need to create a composite model, all the Power BI Shared datasets should be published in the one premium workspace? Correct me if I'm wrong. Because I have 5 different Power BI Shared datasets and all those datasets were published in different workspaces (2 are published in two different premium workspaces and the remaining 3 are published in the 3 different normal workspaces). In this scenario how can I build a composite model?
With regards to the Dataflows, please assist me with how to connect 5 different Power BI Shared datasets and other sources.
