Hello, my client has set of Power BI reports for various analytical purposes. Now we having some issues to understand the best practice for granting access to those reports to users - inside and outside of client corporate AD. All the reports are based on Azure SSAS model to pull the data.
Can anyone please help to understand the process flow that we need to follow in granting access to several users who are inside and outside the corporate AD of our client?
Thanks for your help.
Solved! Go to Solution.
For users within same organization (inside AD), if you need grant access to report (not dashboard), you can only publish the report into a group workspace and add those users into this worksapce as members with permission.
For users outside of AD, you can either share dashboard to them, or use "publish to web" to have them view the report page. It's not possible to access the report itself.
