Getting filtered data from DB2 source with PowerBI

Is it possible to get data from a DB2 source with ODBC connector but filtered.
As an example:

I have Database with 1,5 mil. rows but only need 4000 from 1 customer. How is this possible without pulling first the compleet database to powerBI. Because of the impact it would be nice to only have a dataset with the 4000 rows.

Any support would be welcome. Thank you.

Hi @PowerBIspeed ,

The key is the connection type.  If you are using ODBC and want to filter on the connection you will have to use the ODBC "language" to do so.  This is a great document that walks you through your options (yes, I have successfully done this with similar ODBC filtering):

OData Version 4.01. Part 2: URL Conventions (oasis-open.org)
