Hello -
I am having a new issue with setting up a refresh that I have never seen before. I just published a new workbook and when I go to schedule the refresh, I am seeing the following:
All data sources are showing the green check, all are mapped to the correct gateway source, the use data gateway is on, yet the radio button in blue I cannot select.
I have these sources connected to various other datasets that refresh on a scheduled basis with no issue. This particual workbook has no merges, no appends, no sources from the web and no files in it. All data sources are tables from SQL data warehouses.
Any ideas on what could be going wrong here?
Matt Hampton
Yes, and I have bad news for you. I recently had a ticket with Microsoft on that exact same issue. The only thing they eventually came up with is to remove the dataset from the workspace, update the app and then re-add the dataset. When pointing out to them that that will change the report GUID they acknowledged that but had no alternative to offer.
Making matters way worse was the fact that this was a promoted dataset with lots of lineage behind it. MOC nightmare.
@lbendlin Thank you for the response, as unfortunate as it is. I will try to delete the data set, update the app and republish it as you/MS suggested. I will report back once complete if that did the trick.
Matt
Hi @matthew_hampton ,
Is lbendlin's answer helpful? If you have resolved the issue, please accept that as solution. More people who have the same request will benefit from this thread.
