Free PowerBI users unable to see content in app created in Premium Capacity Workspace

Hello,

this is driving me crazy!

I have a pro license and have created a report in a Premium Capacity Workspace, created an app for it and shared it with Free Power BI users.

The thing is that they are still unable to view the information in the app. They can see the app in their Power BI but when they double-click on it, it goes greay and loading but nothing loads.

Please HELP! 🙂

Hi @DavidMeehan

Can you please ask your Office 365 Admin to make sure that those users have ONLY got a Power BI Free license.

It can often happen when a user has both a Power BI Free License and a Power BI trial license. Once the trail license is removed should work.

Hi @DavidMeehan ,

You can try again using another account within Pro license.

Create a simple report and share it to free users. Check whether they could load it.

Hello @GilbertQ

Could it perhaps be me that I am using a Power BI trial license?

I am sure that the users who cannot access to the app info are using an ONLY free license.

Thanks,
David
