Font family changes from Calibri to Times New Roman when switching from PC to Mac

My entire report is using the Calibri font family, and when I view the report on a PC OS the font is correct on Service. The issue arrises when I log onto my account and view the report on a Mac OS. The font family that I see is Times New Roman, but when I go to "edit report" and view the font family on the format tab in the Visualizations pane, the font family still shows Calibri.

Basically, the font family doesn't change, but when strictly viewing the report the font family changes from Calibri to Times New Roman from a PC to a Mac.

We had this issue and solved it with the following steps.

1 - If you have Microsoft Office Installed on the Mac:

copy the font file in: Applications folder > Microsoft PowerPoint > Contents > Resources > Fonts > Calibri

paste to the desktop and double click to open in FontBook and select: Install Font

2 - If you don't have Microsoft Office Installed on the Mac

purchase the font from Microsoft from their website at: https://www.fonts.com/font/microsoft-corporation/calibri

We are facing the same problem, as we have both mac and windows users.

Is there a solution for this? Or do only "web safe" fonts work without installing them on each users computer?

I am also having this issue: publish in Calibri, shows as Times New Roman on Mac.

I also have the same issue. I have users of the report that view it both in Windows and on Macs. The font appears correct in Windows (Calbri) but when viewing the published report on a Mac in both Chrome & Safari it shows the font as Times New Roman. This causes formating issue as the text does not fit correctly with the change of font. This means having to develop the same report twice for Mac and Windows users.

I've encountered the same issue! See the image below. In my entire report I use Segoe UI Light, but when I view it on a Mac, it also changes to 'Times New Roman'. See image below.
The titles on the left and in the middle show show 'Segoe UI Light' (as they should). These titles are not in a visual, but a simple text box. On the right side you'll see the title of a visual with font 'Times New Roman', while in actuality I've configured it to Segoe UI Light...

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry for that I have no test environment for Mac OS, you need have tests to check if this is really an issue.

Please change your font family from Calibri to Times New Roman on Mac OS and compare with the two font family to check if they are anything different.

If it is convenient, you also could upload the images of the two font family on Mac OS so that we can help further investigate on it?

Best Regards,

Cherry
