Hi,
I have 4 different workspaces each representing a department in my company. I have a single report that comprises all departments and I have a slicer with the department name inside the report. My goal is to filter the report on each workspace according to the department. I know I can do that by the URL but I'm affraid it is not that safe (anyone who deletes the query string can then access to other department's values).
Can someone please help me with this?
Thanks,
Marta

@martaredondo Do the end users have access to the workspace and to edit the report, or is this purely through sharing via Apps or the reports?.. I would suggest row level security if you are sharing, that way the user would be automatically filtered to only what they should see. But if they have access to edit, that doesn't work.

@Seth_C_Bauer thanks a lot for the suggestion! Users can't edit the report so row-level security is perfect for this case. I'm fairly new to PowerBI so I didn't even know this feature! It will help a lot 🙂
Thanks,
Marta
