Fields not displaying in matrix visual in Q&A

When I'm in Q&A mode and use the matrix visual and select 2 more more fields in Rows only the top field is displayed. The second field is not displayed and there is no way to drill down. I'm guessing this is due to the fact drill down is not available in dashboard, but when using Q&A and you have functionality to add as many fields as you want it seems like a bug.

Has anyone come across this and worked out a work around?

Thanks for that. Yeah that's exactly what I was trying to do. I've worked out the issue now. Power BI has marked it as a drill down and so I need to use drill down to view other rows. In Q&A the drill down icons aren't there which is why I struggled to see the other Row fields (maybe this needs to be an idea) but I then right-clicked on a row and drill down/up are on the menu and I was able to view it that way.

I also wish we knew how Power BI decides when it uses drill down or when it just displays the Rows field as another column.  Maybe anther idea.

Hi @doktorg,

I can use Q&A to add multiple column to rows field, can you share more detail information about this issue?

BTW, you can also try to manually design matrix visual after you input Q&A query.

Creating a Matrix with Q&A?

Yes, current Q&A query seem not support display the query column to column field.

For this issue, you can manually modify it or submit an idea about add some keyword support to analysis column to column fields.
