Failed to configure selected file

Hi all,

Trying to connect to an excel file on sharepoint, I have access to the file, select it through Get Data and then I get the below error. Any dieas?

I have other connections working fine and have stripped this file down to a single tab / single table to conduct testing and it did not fix the error. Have also saved the document to another directory where I have othetr working conenctions and did not work either.

It was a table with names, phone numbers, dates and emails. Removing the hyperlink from the emails solved the problem. Put hyperlink back in and refresh failed, took them out again and it worked.

Problem solved, just weird that it was hyperlink causing the issue.

HI @Anonymous ,

Any specific contents/style/macro setting in your excel sheet? Did these data stored in excel or use excel connectors to get data from external datasource?
Please explain more about these to help us clarify your scenario.
