Extracting power bi audit logs using service principal and application secret in power shell

Hi All,

I am using powershell script to extract power bi audit logs  by providing my credentials, beacuse i am the power bi administrator in my organisation. After researching many articles, found that using  service principal and an application secret in powershell. Is it possible to extract power bi audit logs using service principal and an application secret in power shell.

My question is I want to run power shell script automatically, because if I give my credentials and run script,it will prompt credential because of MFA.That's why instead of my credentials I want to give service principal and application ID. Automate the script using task scheduler.

For that you will need to talk your global admins to allow you to create such a service principal.  Might be a tough negotiation.
