Extracting Workspace Details

Hello,

I did export all workspace details from tenant admin portal where I could see Worskapce ID, name, Description, Type, State, Read Only, Onprem capacity and Workspace upgrade status. However as an admin, I need to know who created the workspace and who all are members along with their access details (workspace admin, contributor, member, viewer)

Please let me know if there is a way to extract this data.

Hi  @lokeshb31  ,

Sorry, I misunderstood what you meant.

For PowerShell, get the desired result and export it to excel, you can check the document:

Hi  @lokeshb31  ,

1. You can view the permissions of roles in access in the upper right corner of the workspace:

2. About the creator of workspace, you can check here:

Website:https://protection.office.com

Select audit log search to capture the operation in power Bi and enter workspace in the search box

Thanks for details. I did install the PBI cmdlets and able to get workspace details but its all in raw format. Is there is a way to extract it in documented format like excel?

I dont see any search options in https://protection.office.com for Audit log search.  Are there any privileges missing?

Hi  @lokeshb31 ,

You must meet these requirements to access the Power BI activity log:

1. You must either be a global admin or a Power BI service admin.

2. You have installed the Power BI Management cmdlets locally or use the Power BI Management cmdlets in Azure Cloud Shell.
