Exporting to Power Point. Can we automatically ignore some reports?

My Users are going to be exporting the Power BI Reports as Power Point slides to email to other team members

The Reports contain drill throughs and other bits and pieces that they wont want to include in the reports

My question is, is there any way we can ignore certain reports so they dont tur up in the Power Point slides. Or else every time  they export they will have to go through and delete slides they dont want. This will be OK unless they forget.

It would be really useful. I dont want to have to create 2 seperate reports. One to use in the service and one to Download to Powerpoint

Thanks in advance

Hi @DebbieE,

By my tests, I'm afraid that we cannot achieve your requirement when export to PowerPoint currently in Power BI.

You could submit your idea in Power BI ideas Forum.

In addition, there is a workaround which may not the best but is a chioce.

You could share the reports as a content pack so that they could copy and edit the report to be what they want to export to PowerPoint.

Please note that the Content Pack is only supported for the members in the same organization.

Hi,

The only way to achieve that is by either using PowerBI Tiles Pro (embed the reports you want on PowerPoint) or PowerBI Robots (select the reports you want and send them as a playlist of either PDF or Image files).

If you have any questions about either, feel free to ask.

Interesting. I will have a look into these. Thanks
