Exporting data while viewing report as someone(RLS) exports the entire dataset

Hi,

I've a report with RLS enabled. 

I am trying to export a matrix table data while viewing the report as other user on PowerBI Service. But when I select summarize data under export data option of a matric visual it exports the entire dataset instead of just the filtered Rows for that specific user..

 

I am wondering would this be the case with the user as well or is it happening only because I am the owner of the report. How do I fix this? Kindly advise.

So if the person who has access based on RLS will they be able to download the entire dataset as well? Or just the rows to which they have access to?

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

According to the document, if the users are affected by RLS, export data will only implement on the part of content which they have access to.
