Exporting data from Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics App via PowerShell or APIs?

Hi,

I know that one can export data from  the  "Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics" App into Excel.

We are interested in storing such data in a fact database automatically. Is there any way one can extract such data using APIs or PowerShell? Or can we obtain equivalent metrics using a different method?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,

There is currently no clear way to export for Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics by using PowerShell or APIs, maybe you could refer to below link to have a try:

https://github.com/Microsoft/PowerBI-JavaScript/wiki/Export-Data

But also notice the Limitations and considerations.

Now that it's 11 months later, has this situation changed?  Is there a way to get Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics into a SQL Server Database?  This is needed as the app only keeps a week of data and we want to do historical trend analysis.
