Exporting From published Web links

I'm curious if there is a solution to exporting data from a table that has been published.

I have found Power BI is amazing for making tables of data based on your desired filters on the data. I have made a table which would be a great for make data lists for my team. I've published it to Power BI Reports then I publish it to the web from there.

This is the result: http://goo.gl/92fSM4

It's a quick simple tool.

What I want to be able to do is be able to export this to Excel or CSV.

I know that I can do this in Reports by using the ellipses (...) but i really like the simplified view once it's published to web. My theory is my staff shouldn't need to know what Power BI is or how to use it; they should just be able to see the data.

In Chrome i have no options for export but in Explorer I do have an export to Excel function but I get an error message saying "unable to open https://app.powerbi..." but all is shown is "ExternalData_1" in the spreadsheet.

Does anyone have solutions or workarounds for this?

Hi @sanluca,

It is not possible to export data from the report for users after you publish the report to web, an idea about this issue has been submitted in the following link, please vote it up.

Besides, as your post, users are currently able to export data in the Report sections.

Thanks,
