My team frequently works with datasets from other teams. These datasets are either tables that we manually export from PBI Reports or Excel files from Sharepoint. We then need to have the data available immediately for local use on PBI Desktop, as well as have it uploaded to our teams' Sharepoint site.
Currently, we manually export data from the reports and download the files from other teams' Sharepoints. We then upload them to our own Sharepoint so other teams can use our data. We also use the downloaded files in PBI Desktop to create our own reports.
This workflow seems a bit off, as both PBI and Sharepoint are in the Microsoft ecosystem. Would there be any good way of easily getting data from PBI Reports (that we are not the owner of) and uploading it to Sharepoint directly without the middle step of having to download? Is there any way of exporting data from a PBI Report directly into our PBK Desktop?
Thanks

Hi @Anonymous ,
After my research, I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now. We can now Embedding Power BI Report Server (PBIRS) reports in SharePoint. For your requirement, you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner.
