Export to Shapefile

Is there a way to export to shapefile?

I have a shapefile that I'd like to add a new column to and export with the new data.

You're help would be appreciated

HI @LOGiT,

AFAIK, power bi does not support direct export files to SharePoint.
You need to manually upload exported power bi report file to sharepoint side. Maybe you can submit an idea for this requirement.
In addition, you can generate code to share power bi content to SharePoint site.

Embed with report web part in SharePoint Online

Hi there

As far as I know you can create the Shapefile and then import that into Power BI

If you need the source shapefile I would suggest talking to the report author?

Thanks for your response. 

What I'm after is the ability to create a copy of the previously imported shapefile which includes to data attached in the visual. So it exports as a new shapefile containing the additional data.

Yes that does make sense, but I do not think that it is currently possible.
