Hi All
I've read that you have to "save" the report in the PBI Service if you want to export with the applied filters but that isn't acceptable for reports used by everyone in a company. We don't wany anyone saving the reports as it will start causing confusion.
We have a link from our Salesforce Account that provides a URL that automatically filters the Power BI with the appropriate account so the users don't have to. But, if you export that report once you get there, it shows all accounts. Is this going to be fixed?
Thank you
Cathryn
hi, @Cathryn
Since you don't want to "save" the report in the PBI Service.
Why don't you "save" the report and export to PowerPoint and then reset the "filter" and "Save" the report in the PBI Service again?
and for url filter, it has the limitations:

Thank you for the response.
This report is for our internal customers. I need to prevent them from saving any filters for their purposes. Asking them to save the report, export and then clear the filters isn't ideal since most of them won't clear the filters. Hence, the reason they aren't allowed to do so. Plus, there is row level security on the report so, if a filter is saved, it could be that another customer won't see data for that filter.
hi, @Cathryn
If you could try to use “Reset to default” function in your report as a workaround?
