We are testing out the new feature - Export to PDF - in the Power BI service, and it doesn't work for most of our reports. We checked the limitations that are published and we seem to be within them, so not sure why it doesn't work. After about 5 minutes we get this message:
Unable to export to PDF
We couldn't export your report to a PDF file

If if we do get this to work it is useless for us in the state anyhow since it only uses the default slicer states and not what the user has selected. So, looking forward to be able to capture the pdf with the current filter/slicer settings.
Hi @rbre
Which web browser do you use? How about try with other web browsers?
Do you and these users have a pro license?
To get quick help and reponse, i suggest you to create a support ticket.

For your requirement :
"If if we do get this to work it is useless for us in the state anyhow since it only uses the default slicer states and not what the user has selected. So, looking forward to be able to capture the pdf with the current filter/slicer settings. "
The official document says it's a coming feature->
"One item of note – many, many users have been asking when the filters/slicers/bookmarks they’ve selected will be respected when they export to either a PowerPoint or PDF. While that isn’t the case yet, that capability is coming in very short order, so keep watching the Power BI blog for an announcement around that feature in the not too distant future."
Best Regards
Maggie
