Has anyone heard if PowerBI is going to fix their 'fix', which no longer allows us to export images separately, but instead makes on large slide for report in PowerBI.
Without warning, the ability to capture each tile was removed from functionality, and now each page is an entire slide/image. This completely breaks our business process we had in place. We use charts/graphics interchangeably in multiple different reports throughout the week. This means that now we have to take the FULL image, and cut/crop, delete backgrounds, etc. It's created an unbelievable amount of distress completely across the organization, without any warning for us to change processes. On top of that, the images that pull from the export PowerPoint are not crisp enough to scale/resize properly. Screen shots aren't clear enough either. So, now our company is looking into switching to Tableau, or some other Enterprise Solution.
Is there any plans to change the functionality BACK to the way it was? And why was it changed in the first place?
HI @Anonymous,

Nope, I haven't heard any plans to rollback 'export to powerpoint' feature, maybe you can try to submit an idea for add an option to control merge tiles graph.
