Exchange Online | Issue in scheduled refresh configuration for fetching content from shared mailbox.

I have a .pbix file which fetches data from a shared mailbox using built int Exchange online connector. The refresh works completely fine on Power BI desktop. However , while configuring the credentials for Scheduled refresh, i see the below error.

Exhange Online Connector (Authenticated via Microsoft Account) -- PBI desktop -- works fine.

OAuth2 Authentication in PBI service -- tried all privacy modes -- doesnt work.

Any idea , how to resolve this issue ?

Thanks,

Eswar

Hi , @eswar_chandra

Please check if this thread helps.

As mentioned by @v-yulgu-msft ,To enable data refresh within Power BI service when connecting to Microsoft Exchange Online, you have to have Exchange online license no matter which version of Office 365 you use. Otherwise, above error message would be prompted.
