There is an article that talks about it here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-analyze-in-excel#other-ways-to-a... but just says if you don't have the right SKU it won't show.
Does anyone know what SKU is needed?

I found more information on these features of using Power BI Datasets in Excel here too:
and the featured tables/excle data types (for E5 subscriptions):

@DataZoe I believe it's your Microsoft Office Product Key?
[Update]: Here's a link to refer to - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/view-account-license-and-service-details-w....
@darentengmfs Yes thank you, I was not clear -- I know what a SKU is, I just wanted to know which SKU (which license) specifically will show that "from Power BI Dataset" in the "Get Dat" menu 🙂
I have a client that wants this functionality so looking to say, oh you need to upgrade your office subscription from ABC to XYX license and then it will appear :).

@v-deddai1-msft This seems to be different from Power BI Publisher. That functionality seems to be built in now, with the File --> Publish --> Publish to Power BI option in Excel.
This one seems to be different.
I have access to different Excel versions with different clients:
1. I also have Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise, Excel 365 MSO (16.0.13029.20342) and that one does NOT have the option. I just updated it and it changed to Version 2008, 16.0.13127.20402 and still doesn't show. I then decided to join the insider program (Beta Channel) and it is now Version 2010, (16.0.13312.20006) and the option is now there!! (and it works just like I want!)
2. I also have Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus (2016) Version 1803 (16.0.9126.2282) and while this one doesn't have what I'm looking for it actually does have Get Data --> My Data Catalog Queries and Get Data --> Data Catalog Search which opens up a Power BI Login dialog, though it doesn't work :(. This looks to be the old Data Catalog which I didn't think Power BI did anymore, which may be why it doesn't actually work.
From the office site the latest release is 16.0.13127.20296, the August release. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/what-s-new-in-microsoft-365-95c8d81d-08ba-42c1-914f-bca46...
But I don't know what product that these actually is from the lists here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compare-microsoft-365-enterprise-plans Is that E5 or F3? I want to be able to say, oh you have to do X, Y, and Z to see it show up. Does it need to be enterprise or can it be proplus? Is it something the admin of office has to enable to work?

@v-deddai1-msft Ah I was able to find it!
https://portal.office.com/account/
When I went here I can see what subscription I have!
1. (the one that works when I joined insider) is Office 365 E1
2. (the one that doesn't work and I have to get IT to upgrade) is Office 365 E3
So, it looks like I just need to get the 2nd one upgraded and it *should* show. But it will show on E1 which enough upgrades.
My image doesn't show on my earlier post, but this is what it looks like when it's there:
