Error when accessing PoweBi

Good day all, 

 

We are having an issue granting access to users to our Dashboards.

We simply add users into an AD group, and once thats done, we share the Dashboard.

 

These are the errors we are getting:

Any idea what else we can look at to eliminate this error please? This error spans across multiple users across the globe.

there can be many reasons as this is a general error displayed in the service. 

Did this ever work in the past?  Where are you reading the data from? Is any gateway involved in this process? Do the AD users have access to underlying data set and gateway (if any) ?

Hi

 

The problem started a few weeks back.

The way access is set up is that access is given to users by:

Adding users to the A.D group, the A.D group has access to underlying data being a Cube.

Sharing the dashboard with users.

The gateway is set up correctly and is working properly even now as other users have access to the reports.

Thanks for the details. Can you check if the AD group is listed under the datasource in the Users tab?

Hi there, 

Yes, it is listed. This is becoming a serious issue as we have went live with our Dashboards in the EU region, and very few people can access it. We have granted access to over 300 people in that region.

Hi. We have the same issue. I'm in a big french company and since few days, all upluod from Desktop to Service are Ko. No idea what is the pbl.

@MSekhaolelo Most of the issues were resolved when we update the gateway (even though it's the same version again). But looks like it is working for other users not just the new AD ? Do you see any errors in the Gateway logs?
