Error using Pdf.Tables in dataflow

I am trying to ingest a pdf into a dataflow, but get the following error:

"import Pdf.Tables matches no exports"

Is Pdf.Tables not supported in dataflows? I have sucessfully ingested Excel and XML into dataflows but not pdf.

Ingesting Pdfs now works successfully in dataflows.

Hi @cz8vyv ,

Based on my test, PDF is not a supported source in Dataflow, while Excel and XML are all supported.

Thanks @TeigeGao, however what I'm looking for is an idea/indication/timeline of when pdf ingestion will be supported within dataflows?

Seems an omission that they are supported in the power bi desktop and in the web service but not in dataflows.

PDF now appears as an option when you add entities in dataflows.

Capture.JPGHowever on testing this functionality - the preview successfully reads in the pdf tables but I still get the error when I try to refresh in the service:

"The import Pdf.Tables matches no exports"

Ingesting Pdfs now works successfully in dataflows.

Hi,

Has anyone got this to work. I can access a pdf in dataflows, but anytime I try and refresh I get the error referenced in this post.

Thanks!

Dataflows do not seem to work with tables in pdfs (this does work in Excel power Query). Specifically, dataflows can only see pages, not tables - Excel Power Query can see both.
