Error randomly when Refresh Data to Oracle (Oracle: ORA-01013)

Hey All,

Randomly I get the following error when going to refresh data using oracle database.

Oracle: ORA-01013: el usuario ha solicitado la cancelación de la operación actual

This error occurs randomly and each time is more frequent.

What could be the problem?

  • Concurrency in the database?
  • Gateway problem?
  • Any configuration parameter in the database?

hi  @beiker10

The most common cause of ORA-01013 is timeouts.

Just please refer to these post:

Hi there

If this is happening from time to time I would ask the DBA to see if there were any issues on the Oracle DB at that time?

Also then look at the Gateway at that time, and if you have got logging to see what is happening on the Power BI Gateway

here is a blog post for logging on the Power BI Gateway: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-performance
