Error "The Power BI Service was unresponsive" and cannot load databases from gateway

Hi

I detect two problems in powerbi.com, I supose that both are related,

1) Error "The Power BI Service was unresponsive" when accessing to powerbi.com->Settings->Admin Portal (see first image below)

2) Error "Couldn't load list of resources" when try to show databse list shared with PowerBIGateway. When I access to:

powerbi.com->GetData->Databases->AnalysisServices->Connect

When access to database gateway, it says that all connections are ok, and reports works correctly.

I update Gateway to the last version.

Thanks!

Hi @RamonGRC

I would suggest you update to latest version of Power BI Desktop.Then restart the gateway to check if the issue persists.If it still persists,you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".

  • To stop the service, run this command:

    ''' net stop PBIEgwService '''

  • To start the service, run this command:

    ''' net start PBIEgwService
