Error page when sign in

Hi guys,

When I am attempting to sign-in Power BI service, I encountered error and it redirect me to below page.

 

The environment I use to access Power BI service have external internet access limitations, and need to register domains to whitelist. I alread added https://app.powerbi.com/* to whitelist. And it looks all fine during the sign-in process. I doubt if there is any background web call caused this issue? Can anyone give me some advise?

We're also noticing this error with many of our clients...

They are just seeing a blank page.

Hi, one of our user have the same issue after doing a password reset, do you know any possible cause? or possible resolution? thank you.

I get the same:

This is for joecl@crmgccmon.onmicrosoft.com.

This identity has a license assigned as well:

I just had this error - did you find a solution to this?

(I'm a global admin - all other services are working fine...)

My issue has been solved without any changes on my side (maybe our Infra team did something without informing me).

I guess this issue caused by that the enviornment was blocked to necessary internet access for authentication. I was intend to ask what is the authentication service for Power BI.

Please contact your global administrator to check whether current account is still valid to access Power BI Service.

Hi Yuliana,

Yes, My account is valid, and I can access to Power BI service if I use different environments (my personal PC or work laptop etc.)

I think this is an environmental issue only exists on that machine, but not sure what prerequisite of Power BI service authorization requires. Could you give any advice? If I know what's failed, then I can request my system admin to update the config of that machine.

I have the same problem. Do you know the possible cause?

Would you please translate the error message into English to help us understand it? Besides, you could log on Power BI service with a different web browser for test.

Appreciate your help. Actually I have tried on both IE and Chrome, same error happens.

I think you can access the url to see English translation, seems the message language is environement reliant. 

https://app.powerbi.com/ErrorPage?code=403&errorType=AppMetadataInaccessible

The message translation is as below.

No access right to access this page.

Technical details:

Power Bi can't read application meta data. Please access to below support page to confirm Power BI service status and try again.

The message can't help us because, 1) there is no link to support page to allow us check Power BI service status. 2) The account used to sign in is of the owner of report and have access right to the page.
