Error in refresh in Power BI service (but not in Power BI desktop) when data contains invalid dates

Some rows in data contain invalid dates, no error received while loading data in Power BI desktop. Also refresh is successful in power bi desktop but when we refresh report in Power BI service, we get the following error:

Inbound v1.1 has failed to refresh.

Failure details:

Not a legal OleAut date.. The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Table: IM_FCT_MDL01 PurchaseOrderLine

Please share the screenshot of the error message. And what is your data source and how do you connect it?

What I would suggest doing is to either remove the errors, which you can do in the Power Query Editor.

Or replace the values with valid dates, to ensure that it can be refreshed successfully.

Also do you have the latest version of the On-Premise Data Gateway installed?
