Error after deleting shared dataset and trying to publish reports again

Hi,

We had set up a shared Dataset using Power BI cloud which uses data Import to load the data to the Dataset

Deleting the dataset caused the Reports associated with the Dataset to be deleted in the premium workspace.

After Deleting the dataset, we could not upload reports to the workspace with the same name that were used earlier and we get a below-mentioned error while trying to publish

powerbi_error.JPG

Can you please have a Bug raised for the same to have it fixed in Power BI cloud workspace?.

Please revert, if any queries.

Thanks & Regards,
Sunil

Hi @Anonymous ,

I've read other threads in which something in the PBIX file corrupted and creating a copy (save as) to a new PBIX file resolved some internal error in the model. You could give that a shot, and see if the same error occures when uploading the new file. If you are having success connecting to the same datasource, I would assume it has something to do with the PBIX file itself.
