Error 'The value is not a cube.' while refreshing data

Hi all,

I created a report based on local CSV-files and SAP BW queries. When I refresh data in Desktop, it works totally fine. However, when I schedule a data refresh in the Service, I get notified that 'The value is not a cube' and it relates to a table ("Lijst met afnemers") that is based on a SAP query. This is the error:
Error.JPGAgain, in Desktop the refresh works totally fine.

I can't find any documentation on this error, so I am hoping anyone here can help me out.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @BIfanatic,

1. Which On-premises data gateway did you use? Try the On-premises data gateway (NOT the personal mode) please.

2. If it's possible for you to share the logs of Gateway? Error 'The value is not a cube.' while refreshing data.jpg

3. Try to delete the whole dataset in the PBI Service, then republish it from Desktop. If this is possible.

4. What would happen if you refresh manually from Service?

Best Regards!

Dale
