Enterprise Gateway with trial account

Hi all,

can i use an enterprise gateway SSAS datasource created with a PowerBI Pro Trial account?

Even thought i've installed and configured the gateway correctly I'm getting a "Data Source access error": username and password are incorrect. I signed up to PowerBI Free with my work email.

Well, you definitely need Pro to use any of the gateways. I would assume that the Enterprise Gateway would work with a Pro Trial account. The error you are getting could potentially be the wrong credential type, where does your gateway and SSAS sit? Are they both on the same network?

Yes, they are.

Same error even migrating to a pro account and upn configured.

In event vwr i got a NULL SID error.

SSAS service account configured with a domain account and SPN configured.

Solved.
The powerbi.com email was not the same configured in the UPN!
