Our On-Premises enterprise Gateway always fails with some random error and getway logs won't write anything. This happens almost every month and the only solution we had and even Microsoft suggested was to uninstall the existing version and install the latest release. Are there bugs arising whenever a new gateway version is released or is it happening only to us?
Microsoft suggesting to install latest version every time is ridiculous. A solution is needed rather than masking the issues and using new version every month. This happened recently with our Jan 2018 version and Microsoft support suggested to (only suggestion) install Feb 2018 version.
Is anyone else facing similar issues?
Hi @GilbertQ Latest gateway is working fine for me too, This is being releated. It failed in december and had to install the update from December, same in January and this month as well. Microsoft is going out of support for August 2017 and older versions starting March 15th. The other versions from Sep 2017 should work fine right?
This post is more for Microsoft, Their support team is suggesting to uninstall and reinstall a newer version immediately when they see the error. Why does the 1 month old version fails in a month, month-and-half ?
