Enterprise Gateway cant configure ODBC data source

Enterprise Gateway cant configure ODBC data source when using Treasure Data, because it only uses api key instead of user and password,

meanwhile, form validates for password and wont let you go through

Please fix

Re: Enterprise Gateway cant configure ODBC data source

Which part exactly?

To download personal gateway? We need enterprise one.

For now password needs to be validated when setting up and we cannot set it up properly.

Can you check if password validation can be removed?

Also on desktop is working flawlessly.

@v-cherch-msft

Can you than provide a way to connect to odbc sources that only use api key (treasure data) instead of user and password?

Right now we have inconsistency beetwen desktop (no password validation and works) and service (password validation and not working).

Re: Enterprise Gateway cant configure ODBC data source

@v-cherch-msft

The problem you referenced is for Pbi desktop which is working.

I have a problem with Pbi Service, where I am not able to either configure odbc source (with api key) for enterprise gateway, or add a odbc (with api key) datasource to dataflow.

Hi @lukasker

I'm afraid i cannot find a better way to achieve that.If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
