Hello,
Our Dashboard end users need to be able to filter different texts to choose categories that they want. For instance: They need to display all rows that contain in their description field any of the following terms --> engine| combustion| Electric drive|abcd qwerty.
In other words: engine OR combustion OR "electric drive" OR "abcd qwerty".
I Know that I can do it with power Query using filter -> Contains text --> etc. But is there other way to do it without using power bi desktop?
Many thanks in advance

My suggestion would be (if you have the option) to add a new calculated column called "Description Category" such that if the Description column contains engine then the value would be "Contains engine", if the Description columns contains combustion then the value would be "Contains combustion", etc.
If you don't have the option, check this out - Power bi slicer "contains" with examples
